Amber Williams, Msc

Amber Williams earned her Bachelor of Science - Exercise Science at Appalachian State University and Master of Science - Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  She worked under the advisory of Dr. Susan T. Arthur, and defended her thesis “Influence of Notch Inhibition on mTOR and Wnt Signaling in Repairing Muscle” in May 2023.  During her time at UNCC, she trained new laboratory personnel, acted as a Teaching Assistant for Anatomy and Physiology laboratories, and collaborated with several other researchers on campus.  Her goals are to continue engaging in exercise physiology research as a collaborator and leader in whole-food interventions to support fitness.
