Camila A. Sakaguchi Olson has a Ph.D. in physical therapy from the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil and specializes in cardio/respiratory area. Her doctorate research was focused on investigating the effects of respiratory training using metabolomics. She has over 10 research papers published in high impact scientific journals. In 2018, Camila was granted an international governmental scholarship, and came as a doctoral student intern and short-term scholar at the AppState - Human Performance Laboratory. After defending her Ph.D. and working for a hospital in Brazil, Camila returned to the States, was selected, and hired as the research manager of the Human Performance Lab in 2020. In this position, she has been conducting several clinical trials, and writing research papers, continuing to contribute to the
advancement of science.
