Kierstin Davis received her Master of Science in Exercise and Movement Sciences from University of Memphis. During her time at Memphis, she worked as a graduate assistant for Dr. Brandt Pence and defended her thesis on “Lactate Suppresses immunometabolic and inflammatory responses in monocytes” which she gave a podium presentation on at the annual ACSM conference in 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science in Cellular Molecular Biology in May of 2020 from Appalachian State University. While completing her Bachelors, she worked under Dr. Kevin Zwetsloot in the muscle physiology lab and defended her thesis on “The Effects of Apple Peel Extract on Aged Mice”. She was also treasure of PHI CHI pre-medical club and Vice President of the Triathlon Club while competing as a triathlete. Her aspirations include continuing research in exercise immunology and obtaining her Doctorate.
